We are a week away from our Homecoming Week at Rapoport. We celebrate every year in January around our exciting Basketball season. There are so many fun ways to show your Raven Pride. Check out all the events below.

We want to especially invite students and staff to join in on the Special Dress days starting next Monday, January 27. See the details in the graphic below.

Celebrate Homecoming 2025: Jan. 27-31
​
We will celebrate Homecoming Week Jan. 27-31 with dress-up days, a HS Pep Rally, and Homecoming basketball games on Friday, Jan. 31. 

The entire district is encouraged to join in the dress-up days as follows:

Monday, Jan. 27: Switch Places Day
Students dress like teachers and teachers dress like students!

Tuesday, Jan. 28: Twin Day 
Double the fun! Plan to dress the same as a friend.
✱RAPS Alumni Luncheon - RSVP only (https://rapoportacademy.org/alumni)

Wednesday, Jan. 29: Career Day
Dress for success and a career you admire or would like to pursue someday.

Thursday, Jan. 30: Celebrity Day
Watch out for the paparazzi! Dress as a celebrity (real person) from now or in history.
✱HS Pep Rally Day, 2:45 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 31: Blackout Day
Wear all black and your RAPS spirit wear. High school students may wear mums.

✱ HS Only: Anything But a Backpack Day
✱ Homecoming Basketball game is at the Doris Miller Community Center starting at 5 p.m.
✱ HS Homecoming Dance is also Friday from 9-11 p.m.

Meyer High School students are invited to attend the Rio Carnival Homecoming Dance - Friday, January 31 from 9-11pm

High School Students- Purchase your Homecoming Dance tickets online


If you want to bring an outside guest, you must get the approval ASAP. Please see Ms. Meriwether, Ms. Baker, or Ms. Matat to get the approval form.

Guest tickets are $7.00 ($5.00 without pizza) and must be purchased from Ms. Mata.
