Springing into the Final Quarter!

We are in the final quarter of the 24-25 school year. Where did the time go?! Our Class of 2025 is counting down the days to Graduation, and students in 1st, 4th, and 8th grades will be preparing to move to new campuses and new adventures in 2025.

A lot will be communicated about field days, award ceremonies, and celebrations of all kinds, so keep a close eye on ParentSquare so you don't miss the fun!

Art Lights up the Night

Save the Date: Art Lights Up the Night, April 29

Celebrate the artistic talents of our students (Pre-K through High School) at our annual districtwide art celebration on Tuesday, April 29. This fun evening will showcase our students' Raven creativity and offer a variety of engaging activities.

Event Highlights:
  • Art gallery featuring artwork from all grade levels.
  • Hands-on art activities for the entire family.
  • Student-run art entrepreneur market with items for sale.
  • Food and drinks available for purchase.
  • And more exciting surprises!

This year's theme is "Art Lights Up the Night," so prepare for some fun, glow-tastic activities!

Get the 2025-26 School Calendar

Thank you to everyone who participated in the school calendar vote! We appreciate you taking the time to share your preference.

The overwhelming choice was Option A, featuring the week-long Fall Break in October.

The official printable school calendar is now available on our website. This comprehensive calendar includes all school holidays, staff development days, and parent-teacher conference dates for the entire academic year.

Some key dates to note:
  • First Day of School: Thursday, Aug. 7
  • Fall Break: Oct. 6-10
  • Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-28
  • Winter Break: Dec. 19- Jan. 2
  • Spring Break: March 9-13
  • Last Day of School: May 21

How to Participate:
  • Online Survey: Share your feedback through a brief and confidential online survey.
  • Focus Group: For more in-depth discussions, you can sign up for a focus group session.

Dyslexia Night Presentation + Student Video!

Our Special Populations teachers and Dyslexia team recently hosted a districtwide Dyslexia Night.

You can view the slideshow for more information on what Dyslexia is and isn't here > There are also lots of helpful tips for parents on how to support your child, along with resources and helpful websites.

One event highlight was a video featuring current Rapoport students talking about their experience with Dyslexia.

The entire district and surrounding community are invited to a End-of-School Bash hosted by the Greater Waco YMCA at our Secondary Campus located at 1020 Elm Ave.
